Did Bane break Bat's back?

This is from Spashpage.mtv, and if you hate production spoiler... please refrain from reading further.

The new video shows a clearly injured Bruce Wayne leaving his Lamborghini and limping with a cane past a group of photo-hungry paparazzi into a party.
Clearly Bane has caused enough damage to the already "vulnerable" Bat. Pretty intense! and Bat-ass!

Can't wait!

the New Avengers trailer 2012

Tony Stark: No offense, but I don't play well with others.
Steve Rogers: Big man with suit armour. Take that away, what are you?!
Tony Stark: Genius. Billionaire. Playboy. Philanthropist.

AWESOME!

Hot Toys Movie Masterpiece 1/6 Superman : Flying by soon...

It's a bird, it's a plane. No! It's SUPERMAN!

This pretty much sealed the deal for me!
This is the highly anticipated figure from Hot Toys!
As you know, Hot Toys is paying tribute to a great actor;
Christopher Reeve aka Superman,
and it will be available in Hong Kong this week! A portion of the sales proceed will go to Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation with mission to advance research into spinal cord injury and improve  quality of life for people living with paralysis.

And if the backdrop is the actual box which house the figure, I must say, Hot Toys really outdone themselves this time! The likeness this time around is superb compared to the first initial prototype!

There is an exclusive version which has the limited edition of the kryptonite chain from the first movie (only available from Sideshow Collectibles)
If you hurry along, I believe you still can grab this figure from your local store!

Don't wait!

Whatever it is, this is the highly anticipated figure I'm waiting for... on to the next HT figure!

Here's a tribute from YouTube:

HT and 3A galore...

Here are some quick shots of my collection in which I will go into detail
when I have some time in my grasp.
As of now... just simple pictures.

Will unveil the rest slowly...
a tease if you must.

ALREADY FAMOUS • An excellent film directed by homegrown Singapore actress Michelle Chong

This is the film I definitely urge all Singaporeans and Malaysians to view and enjoy.
Michelle Chong, a very versatile actress who can assimilate any characters with ease, will be acting and directing in her first feature film about a damsel who sells television for a living in Malaysia (a little town namely Yong Peng in Johor) who has a dream being an actress in SIngapore by participating in the Star Search event.
Her superb Malaysian accent and acting will be the highlight as she has proven her abilities in one of the local comedy called 'Noose' which was nominated for Emmy in the International category.
This I believe will push her even further into the International scene! A box-office this I predict!
Do check out the trailer above!

Pun a day to Ease the day...

I'm very impressed with this! Just wanted to share :D

This is a very interesting blog by an extremely talented young lady!
She literally took herself "levitating" in different situations and environments!
Though it has been done before, but her shots are exceptionally beautiful yet haunting...

Doesn't it reminds you of Jeremy Geddes' paintings, in a way?

And here are some pictures, you can check the link I provided above for more info!

Introducing: 3A Tomorrow King Wasabi • Oyaloper

This is one of my favourite TKs produced by 3A! The colour application on these two TKs are excellent! The articulation is the usual standard body by 3A and they are extremely poseable!

Briefly taken from the well-compiled 3A Wikipedia:
Tomorrow Kings are male clones, from the Popbot Universe who were created by Luthor Bean Jr.Luthor Bean Sr.'s Ion Engine that escaped Earth. They are also used to fight the Mortis. originally used for corporate takeovers.

Printed text from the original Tomorrow Kings release:
Made for war against robots. Genetically bred autistic warriors who cannot dress themselves, but can shear off a robot's head with nary a thought. Alone, even though their brothers number in the millions, yes we are doing fine, like the last time, like the last time. They face death from steel, but do not know how to say hello. Today's Princes, Tomorrow's Kings.

In Memory of Mr. Steve Jobs • A true Visionary

By request, here is the full version of the 1997 Boston Macworld expo where we see Steve Jobs for the first time since returning to work for Apple after being gone since 1985. This was a very historic time for Apple because they were almost bankrupt at the time, so Steve announces a temporary partnership with Microsoft to a very hostile crowd. Bill Gates also makes an appearance.

One of my favourite designer vinyl artist: Patricio Oliver aka PO!

PO! as he is known... is a talented illustrator who hails from Argentina! He has this clean lines to his quirky style which reminds me of Burton's whimsical format which translates really well to animation!
Got to know of his works through Kidrobot's Cusco!

Check out his site here:
Foxbot Studio

This came to me late when one of my buddies, Leslie and Andy from TRE literally 'poisoned' me with their newly acquired Foxbot Studio's first release (only 100 produced) 1/6 figure.
I've yet to hold it in my warm, cuddly hands but it sure looks GOOD!
It's by a new company from Indonesia and the backstory for the characters are pretty nifty! The character design is way too cool! Somewhat an amalgamation of Stargate and Victorian style setting. Missed the released of their first character which was "HERMES".
He was at a cool USD165 excluding shipping

But will definitely not miss their second release, hopefully soon!
In which I believe could be Inari or Hades.

Check out the link above for the characters rundown!

Watch out for this new kid on the block!
They are definitely gonna be AWESOME!

A shot which I'm pretty proud of... featuring Oyabun Yama, Badbot and the kitty

My first foray into 3A was the 1/12 scale WWRp (World War Robot Portable) which is the smaller cousin to the 1/6 scale figures. Excellent paint job applications and superb artriculation astounds me! I was collecting designer vinyls then, in which I will post them when I have the time...
As for the TKs, they are pretty much an acquired taste which I finally succumbed to... relinquishing ALL of my WWRps for the TKs took a loooooOOoong process... and it hurts, a bit.

A very interesting Animation from Russia... check it out!

A Lost Video Showcasing a Young Steve Jobs Introducing the Macintosh!

My first post in a blog

Hiya peeps.
Welcome to my blog :D
You must be wondering why now and isn't it a tad too late? Well, it took me quite awhile to settle down and think through what am I to post in a blog. And with everyONE jumping onto cyberspace to create one, will mine get lost in a sea of binary virtual presence?
Well, I believe if you have some great information in which you would love to share with your friends, families and just about everybody... this is it.

Cliché? Well, yes! But it does get the job done!

You might asked, what am I to blog about. Well... toys of course! It's a passion!
Well... my first toy was Chewbacca way back in '78! And I never looked back since then!
Of course, along the way... comics and game consoles came into the picture and are now pretty much part and parcel of my life in which I share with my family and friends!

Speaking of toys... I'm very happy to be a part of the 3ASG family. Peeps who share the love for designer vinyl figures by Kim from threeZERO and Ashley Wood. And I must say... friends we are and a bond we always share for we do have a lot in common! A camaraderie, masonic, or a fraternity, anything you want to call it... it's the common love for toys, comics, art and food which bond us together! And not forgetting my buddies from KL, Australia, Hong Kong, US, UK, etc... :D

And here, I will like to share a quote from a visionary who has just passed on, Mr. Steve Jobs...
"You can't connect the dots looking forward;
you can only connect them looking backwards.
So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future.
You have to trust in something – your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever.
This approach has never let me down,
and it has made all the difference in my life."

Without further ado, let's blog about toys, art and everything nice in between!

Thank you!
